God had been stirring my heart…..I knew that He was asking me to step into a young lady’s life, but wasn’t sure who. And then one day it hit me… it was Kiersten. I did not know Kiersten at the time, other than seeing her in passing at church once in a while. So, awkwardly I sent her a FB message to see if she would like to meet to be mentored and to do a bible study with me. And to my surprise she answered with a “yes!”
The first time we met, I felt like I had known her for years. I have loved getting to know her, and seeing her grow in her relationship with the Lord and in wisdom. She is a delight to me and my family in so many ways. She will be leaving town in two weeks to attend Grand Canyon University…..and I will miss her so but am so thankful she will just be a hop, skip and jump away.
Kiersten, you are beautiful….. You are not only stunning on the eyes, but in spirit too. I am so amazed at the refinement God has been doing in your life and the wisdom He has given you. I will continue to pray that God continues to be your first love. You are precious precious precious! And as you heard it, Brookie said that you are her “best friend.” xoxo
